Went to spend some time in the woods, camping under the stars, had a nice camp fire and a bright full moon to light up the night. Gathered some moss and fallen woodland bits and bobs to use for some collage work. Watched some butterflies and chipmunks, and toasted marshmallows. This will be close to the end of the season for camp outs now that the nights are cooler, so before back to school routine starts we had a little break with nature.

That looks like it was fun! Is this your photo? Did you really see those shooting stars? I missed them...tried to look through the screen of city lights but to no avail. Yesterday when we went north with Simon I saw 12 butterflies on the highway, making their way to Mexico. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteOh we had fun. Sorry I can't take credit for that photo, but the moon looked like that and our tent looked like that. We did see many stars but no shooting ones. Wow I hope those butterflies make it to Mexico.
