Angel Of Faith

Every now and then I pick up my Angel Oracle cards for insight and words of wisdom to keep me going. This is the card I drew, the Angel of Faith and here is what it said.

We may find when life's trials are weighing heavily on us, that we can find the faith that all will come right. This faith sustains us through the hard times. We may stumble along and lose our way, but faith ultimately for our highest good can raise us above our doubts and despair. Faith is the belief that whatever it is you are asking God to deliver is already on its way. Faith is the acceptance of uncertainty and the firm belief that all comes right in the end.

In this age of instant gratification we lack the opportunities to express our faith except when grave crisis comes along. Life is really very simple when we have faith. We can follow our heart and live a committed and meaningful life in the faith that we are fulfilling a plan. We rise above our limited egos to have faith in the knowledge that this is a benign and loving universe and that we are a part of the catalyst which is changing the world to a better place.

Faith helps us to wait in patience for the light when we can see only the darkness in front of us. It is an essential component for life to have faith that whatever our destiny is , it is right for us. Faith is an ever-deepening knowledge that we are guided, loved and protected at all times.

We can pray to The Angel Of Faith to help us renew our faith in the process of life. It will help us to accept those things which we cannot change, as well as all that had been given us to work with and refine in our lives. I ask the Angel of Faith to guide me on my path to happiness and healing.

Went to spend some time in the woods, camping under the stars, had a nice camp fire and a bright full moon to light up the night. Gathered some moss and fallen woodland bits and bobs to use for some collage work. Watched some butterflies and chipmunks, and toasted marshmallows. This will be close to the end of the season for camp outs now that the nights are cooler, so before back to school routine starts we had a little break with nature.

New Designs

I have had an idea for a journal cover around for some time now, I just needed to find the right colour papers to make it work. This is the first design made with collaged papers and a vintage photo of a french girl and her doll, the back and inside of the journal is covered with sheet music and tied with a tea dyed lace ribbon. I love this journal I have had it sitting in my studio and I keep glancing over to it. I will be making a matching little tin in the same design with 4 vanilla candles nestled inside. This journal is listed in the shop today. The weather has turned cool so fast here, I can smell fall in the air, witches, pumpkins, apples and crisp night air....my favouritve time of year.

When we first moved in a year ago, I remember looking at these pale blue bedroom walls and at the time not a big fan of blue, but over the past year while sleeping in the room I grew to like them very much, it has a nice cloud and sky feel to the colour and now with my white bed covers yes I have my own little cloud kingdom. I think we all go though decorating stages they say maybe ever 10 years you change what you like. I am starting to weed out most pink and flowering things, frilly and foofy and simplify my living space, it's easier to clean too. Well another hot and humid day here , I like to get on my computer first thing in the morning before the sun heats up my workspace. Waiting for an order of vintage buttons I purchased off ebay to come and should have some little creations designed with them for the shop soon.

A pretty wrapped paper bundle ready to send off in the mail. Sometimes it's the simplest things that look so pretty, wrapping in newsprint tied with twine and a printed black and white picture, it has a rustic french feel to it. I will wrap all my packages this way from now on.

Oh this heat, even my poor plants are suffereing. They now have a watering ban on in our city so goodbye grass, unless we get some rain soon. This plant sits outside side my studio window, usually my cats are in the window too, but they are slunk out in front of a fan right now. I have been dipping in my daughters pool, even the water is 78 wow but it is still refreshing, it's our birdbath. Is this global warming? Well off to get some errands done, post office, groceries, and library book drop, then I think we will be back in the pool to cool off. Chloe can't wait till school starts, she keeps asking when do I go Mommy? Try to explain 2 weeks to a 4 year old. I will wait till next week before I buy her outfit, since she probably want to wear it every day.

I had some linen doilies and a nice little cotton doily was playing around with an idea and saw something similar in a magazine for a hanging Pin-Keep, so this is my little creation I came up with. You know when you are forever looking for a needle or safety pin before rushing out the door and can never find one....ggggrrrr, it happens to me all the time. I have seen different primitive styles in country magazines and fairs but nothing to hang up. This one you can hang in your kitchen bathroom or bedroom and under the little flap is a spot for pins and a little pocket for maybe some thread or buttons. I listed this PinKeep today in the shop.
